From 2012 to 2014, composer Nicolas Frize took up residence at the PSA Peugeot Citroën plant in Saint-Ouen, France, where he embarked on a multidisciplinary adventure (building up a sound library of workshops, offices, communal spaces and work life..., research into lutherie and the creation of an original instrumentarium based on automobile parts, artistic actions and the construction of a three-movement musical work entitled Intimité).
