SunXun (1980, Fuxin, Liaoning province) lives and works in Beijing. He was trained in Print-art at the China Academy of Art in Huangzhou. In 2006, he founed the n Animation Studio. One of the pioneers of the new generation of self-directed Chinese animation artists, Sun Xun very quickly produced an impressive body of works, reaping international fame.
With exhibitions and residencies in MOCA (Taipei), Audemars Piquet Art Commission (Art Basel,Miami), Guggenheim Museum (New York), Asian Art Biennale (Taiwan), China (Germany), Hayward (London), Vancouver Art Gallery (Canada), Metropolitan Museum (New York), Holland Animation Film Festival(Centraal Museum, Utrecht) and many other places.
