Haiyang Wang est né en 1984 à Shadong (Chine). Il vit et travaille actuellement à Pékin où il s’est installé après ses études à l’Académie Centrale des Beaux-arts dont il est sorti diplômé en 2008.
Peintre, dessinateur et animateur, il est remarqué dès 2010 pour son film Freud, Fish and Butterfly qui est alors sélectionné dans une quinzaine de festivals internationaux. Il expose depuis régulièrement en Chine et en Europe.

Haiyang Wang was born in 1984 in Shandong (China). He settled in Beijing after graduating from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2008, and works there as a painter, draftsman and animator. He gained recognition in 2010 with his film Freud, Fish and Butterfly, selected for some fifteen international festivals. Since then he has exhibited regularly in China and Europe
