Through two round-table discussions, « Formes communes » and « L’horizon des communs », the fifth edition of the Festival parlé (Cinéma du réel 2024) set out to map the imaginaries and terrains of these struggles in time and space, inviting individuals as well as collectives to share their stories, experiences and knowledge. In the all-too-brief space of this meeting, the aim was to give new power to Maria Mies's beautiful proposal, ‘No commons without community’.
Here's the archive: a subjective account by researcher Jacopo Rasmi, an extract from the interview so generously granted to us by Silvia Federici, and the research-creation projects of two doctoral students in the SACRe programme, Lucile Cornet-Richard and Sophie Larger.
