Claude Nori is the photographer of happiness. He immortalizes the moments of his life, the women he meets for a moment, or for life. He does not seek to take photos, he takes them. Photographic flirtation, at the image of an Italian holiday. A rebellious publisher, he created the Contrejour editions in 1975, and became a reference by signing the first books of Jeanloup Sieff, Bernard Plossu, Sebastiao Salgado, Guy Le Querrec, Pierre et Gilles, Luc Choquer, and by publishing the most beautiful monographs of classic photographers (Willy Ronis, Robert Doisneau, Edouard Boubat).
